| Description: | Regimes of furnace transformer devices switching of arc steel melting furnaces with capacity 100 tones were investigated. Approximate estimation of power losses was carried out on the basis of consequences analysis of furnace transformer units switching to furnace substation buses. Power losses can be eliminated when device to control commutations will be used. This device allows to reduce in-rush currents and power losses and will be paid back for 6-8 years of it exploitation. |
