dc.descriptionThe article deals with the problems of reform in teaching foreign languages in modern epoch of world globalization. Common notion of “globalization” as an objective factor of general movement in all spheres of human life-sustaining activity is given. The main spheres of material and non-material basis of educational process in its wide sense are emphasized. Educational process as a paradigm is defined. Mismatches in goals of training foreign languages in the past and at present are underlined. The main spheres of searching reasons of problems in teaching foreign languages in non-language higher school are revealed. The notions “open dynamic system”, “variant”, “invariant” in the paradigm of teaching foreign languages are presented. The principle of historism and its role in the reform of teaching foreign languages is marked. The goals of teaching foreign languages according to the stages of the pre-globalization and globalization period of education development are highlighted. The explanation of “practical method” of teaching foreign languages in non-language specialties in higher schools as a dominant in modern conditions is represented. The notions of “multilinguism” and “plurolinguism” are specified and introduced. The multilinguism and plurolinguism phenomena as the basis of foreign languages teaching reform are analyzed. Regularities of transition of foreign languages teaching paradigm on a new level both in the organization of educational process with changes of linguo-semantic substance of languages, and in the methods and techniques of “vivid” teaching process are substantiated.en_US
dc.description.abstractВ статті порушуються питання змін у парадигмі викладання іноземних мов у сучасній епосі глобалізації світу. Розкрито поняття «глобалізація». Виділені основні сфери матеріального і нематеріального підґрунтя навчального процесу у широкому сенсі визначеного навчального процесу як парадигми. Показана роль принципу історизму у перебудові викладання іноземних мов. Обґрунтовано появлення «практичного методу». Розкрито поняття «практичний метод». Введені і визначені поняття «плюрилінгвізм» і «мультилінгвізм». Зазначено їх місце в організації навчання іноземним мовам в епоху глобалізації.en_US
