Description:	The article discusses the problem of necessity of distinguishing a local subsystem for primary information processing in the structure of an automated ventilation control system. The functions of and requirements to the subsystem are defined. The subsystem facilities are considered as a complex of hardware and software environments, which realise the set of primary parameters control functions of coal mine ventilation.
