Description: An approach to concurrent simulation of coal mine ventilation systems is described. A ventilation system may be represented as a graph and described with differential aquations. The approach consists in the use of a Massage-Passing Interfase(MPI) library for concurrent solution of differential equation systems. The obtained results confirm the efficiency of the equation-oriented approach to the simulation of ventilation systems.
