| dc.description | The software-hardware implementation of a new class of adaptive a-trimmed filters well suited for processing of images corrupted with non-symmetrical p.d.f speckle and impulsive noise is proposed. It is shown that for considered situation, i.e. ultrasound machine diagnostic, biomedical, synthetic aperture radar images etc., it can provide the desirable efficiency of speckle reduction and impulse removal with simultaneous good edge and detail preservation. Due to algorithm peculiarities a high computational efficiency can be achieved in niter implementation. The efficient principles of software-hardware filter realization are proposed and its functional scheme is presented. | en_US |
