Abstract: | The article is devoted to the study of the current state of Ukrainian society, which is forced to respond to the challenges of the war. Extreme conditions of social change determine the need to provide social assistance and psychological support to different categories of population. Achieving such tasks requires not only resource support, but also deep understanding of the situation, which should be based on the detailed socio-humanitarian study of various aspects of social transformations in the period of 2014-2018. The article presents the results of some sociological studies concerning public sentiments, fears and stereotypes within the occupied territories and in other regions of Ukraine. The importance of information and psychological support for the military, their families and displaced people is emphasized and their forms are considered. Attention is drawn to the emergence of new categories of the research (“ATO syndrome”, “psychiatry of migrants”, etc.). |
