Description: In this paper comparative analysis of the parallel processing using a system based on agents was conducted. Two trivial data processing tasks were selected, algorithms for sequential, parallel program and agent-based parallel program were composed. Testing using all this programs was implemented on the training MIMD cluster. The results showed the potential of multi-agent system to solve complex problems.
