МОДЕЛЮВАННЯ СТРАТЕГІЇ ПІДВИЩЕННЯ РІВНЯ КАПІТАЛІЗАЦІЇ БАНКУ

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of banking institutions capitalization and substantiation of the strategy of its upgrade by means of modeling. It was demonstrated that the problem of insufficient capitalization occurs in banks and banking system of Ukraine. It is suggested to use internal sources of capital formation as one way of banks’ capital growth. Substantiation of the strategy of bank capitalization upgrade is based on the optimization model, the target function of which maximizes the growth of equity capital by means of undistributed profit, takes into account adherence to the set limits of allowances creation for impairment of banking institution and maintains a balance between different terms and volume of assets and equities. Статтю присвячено проблемі капіталізації банківських установ і обґрунтуванню стратегії її підвищення за допомогою моделювання. Показано, що проблема недостатньої капіталізації має місце для банків і банківської системи України. Як один із шляхів збільшення капіталу банків пропонується використання внутрішніх джерел його формування. В основу обґрунтування стратегії підвищення рівня капіталізації банку покладено оптимізаційну модель, цільова функція якої максимізує приріст власного капіталу за рахунок нерозподіленого прибутку, враховує дотримання встановлених лімітів формування резервів на знецінення активів банківської установи й підтримує баланс між різними за термінами і обсягами активів і пасивів.
