| Abstract: | The paper contrasts expert methods to the data mining techniques and shows the shortcomings of the former. The expert methods considered are based on the indicative approach for assessment of complex systems development. The method for data analyses is proposed which reflects the development processes of the countries in the world. The paper also carries out the assessment of the status of Ukraine in the modern world using the UN Development Program data and the World Bank data. |
