Description: A question on durability, life expectancies and serviceability of steel ropes in mine elevating installations, lifts and other mechanisms now is actual. Dominating is the small life expectancy of ropes in comparison with other main details and sites of elevating devices. Therefore it is necessary precisely enough to determine maximum explosive efforts, which can withstand steel ropes to prevent undesirable comequences of emergencies. The problem consists in definition of the moment of a beginning of an impulse of a rope at dynamic loads, which it he tests in real conditions of maintenance.
