| Abstract: | В статье приведены данные об истории создания, структуре и основных направлениях деятельности национальной геологической службы США, с которой кафедра полезных ископаемых и экологической геологии ДонНТУ имеет договор о научно-техническом сотрудничестве. Особое внимание уделено роли и месту геологической службы Америки в выполнении национальной энергетической программы (уголь, нефть, газ), изучении сейсмической активности отдельных регионов США и критериям поисков и оценки месторождений рудных полезных ископаемых. |
| Description: | In the article the data about the history of creation, structure and main directions of activities of the national geological service of the USA, with which the Department of minerals and ecological Geology DonNTU has an agreement on scientific-technical cooperation. Special attention is paid to the role and place of geological service of America in the implementation of the national energy program (coal, oil, gas), the study of the seismic activity of separate regions of the us and the criteria of search and evaluation of deposits of ore mineral resources. |
