| Abstract: | The report summarizes main risks arising from networks overvoltage and their consequences. The aim of the report is to show the possibility of using arc suppression reactors as a measure of protection in high voltage networks. The use of these devices will not only prevent accidents but will also keep the current-carrying parts in one piece. The report shows the basics of arc suppression coil design and basic principles of operation. |
