| Короткий огляд (реферат): | В роботі розглядається проблема розрахунку найменшої припустимої пропускної здатності каналів зв'язку для мережі зіркоподібної топології, коли трафік створюється обмеженою кількістю споживачів послуг. Наводиться порівняння запропонованої методики розрахунку з найбільш поширеною, але досить грубою методикою. Ставиться задача розрахунку показників якості транспорту пакетів для прийняття обґрунтованого рішення. В роботі враховується відмінність характеристик потоку пакетів різних послуг. Методику призначено для практичних розрахунків, вона доступна для застосування проектувальниками мереж і не потребує поглиблених математичних знань, може бути легко реалізована у вигляді програми. |
| Опис: | This paper considers the problem of calculating the minimum allowable bandwidth of the communication channels for the star-like topology network, where the traffic is made by a limited number of users of standard office network services. The comparison of the proposed method of calculation which is the most common nowadays, with a rather crude method made. The task of calculating the index quality of transport packages is set. It is offered by the logic of sequential steps to make an informed decision on sufficient amount of the bandwidth to meet the quality requirements. While solving the problem it is taken into account that there are differences between the characteristics of the flow of packets of different services. The problem is considered for the case when the packages with different quality requirements and bandwidth are serviced by independent queues. The method of calculation is considered as an example for the territorial area network real Corporation, features user traffic, topology, technology. Some other parameters are taken from the regulations and practices. The logical methodology is divided into 3 stages – the definition of the initial approximation, the calculation of indicators of quality and minimization. The basic calculation formulas, which come from the conventional laws of teletraffic, are adapted for this task. In accordance with the formulas some examples of calculations and their results are presented in tabular form. A comparison of different methods to the conclusions about the validity of the calculated indicators is given. The main condition of the requirement is to minimize the delay of packet delivery, which is calculated as the queueing time. As the further result of calculation changes the ratio required when setting up the equipment, the average queue length of the packets in a communication device is suggested. In this paper, along with the calculation of a user group a summation traffic hub is considered, which illustrates the difference between the total capacity of the arithmetic sum of the individual capacities of the terms. The method is designed for practical calculations, it is available for use by designers of networks and does not require in-depth knowledge of mathematics. Also, it can be easily implemented as a program. |
