Abstract: | The results of the simulation experiments by the studying of the spatial distributions of the calculated scintillation coordinates characteristics in different points of continuous position-sensitive detector are presented in this paper. Spatial distribution parameters are investigated in dependence on kind of goodness-offit criterion that is used for coordinate calculation and from quantity of Fisher information that consists of sample of pho-tomultiplier tube signals. Specific goodness-offit criterion - Shannon's norm of distribution difference - is used for coordinate calculation. Using of the new criterion provides the satisfactory values of spatial resolution even in the points of minima of Fisher information spatial distribution on the field of the detector. The spatial distribution parameters dependences on the value of decisionmaking threshold are studied. |
