Abstract: Abstract - Vector control systems of induction motors without mechanical speed or position sensors requires the esti¬mation of internal state variables of the machine. The assessment is based exclusively on measured terminal voltages and currents. High-performance systems rely on compensation of stator and rotor resistance variation. This paper pro¬poses useful calculation method for the seed sensor-less system. The method operates with enough stability at large machine parameters variation. It allows to make set-up of an adaptive system at large errors of preliminary identifica¬tion. Thus, the given method can become the constituent of a system for low-zero speed operation.
