Abstract: У статі розглядаються теоретичні засади визначення сутності понять «професійна компетентність», «професійна компетентність менеджера освіти». Розглянуто співвідношення термінів «професійна компетентність» і «кваліфікація». Визначено компоненти професійної компетентності менеджера освіти, керівника навчального закладу.
Description: The theoretical bases of the determination of the essence of the concepts “professional competence”, “professional competence of a manager of education” is examined in this article. The correlation of the terms “professional competence” and “qualification” is also examined. The components of the professional competence of the manager of education and the manager of the educational institution are determined.
