| Description: | DISIRE is an environment for distributed simulation and interaction. The DISIRE is being developed within the frame of a joint project between the University of Stuttgart and Tandem Computers Europe Inc. It enables easy realization and porting of distributed cooperative applications and increases their efficiency, robustness, scalability and portability. DISIRE was designed mainly for distributed interactive simulation (war games), but also provides essential sendees for related application domains like virtual worlds, virtual meetings, virtual chatrooms, cooperative work, multi player games (reaction, strategic, skill and adventure games) to multi user dungeons. |
