| Abstract: | This work deals with image processing for shape descriptors extracting. Some approaches for picture recognition, as polygonal approximation and contour analysis, are presented. The content- based colour image retrieval task is specified for shape consideration. The application for contour analysis and image retrieval is described, search results are estimated. |
