| Abstract: | The article focuses on the semantic analysis of the peculiarities of verbalization of negative emotive persons names in the linguistic picture of the world of the English and Ukrainian languages. The article presents the results of the comparative investigation of semantic peculiarities of emotive component of word-meaning. The set of pejorative emotive semes are determined and thematic groups of negative emotive names of a person are formed. |
