Постправдива політика і доцільність використання прямих питань у соціологічних дослідженнях громадянської ідентичності молоді

Abstract

The article studies genesis and proliferation of the term “post−truth”, considered the Word of 2016. Using the examples of the results of referendums and sociological surveys of the population regarding the independence of the Quebec province expressed is the hypothesis about the answers to direct questions in the research of public identity. Analyzed are the results of surveys conducted in different points of time by Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Razumkov Centre and Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation regarding the support of the ideas of separation of certain areas of Ukraine, as well as research of civic identity of students conducted by the Laboratory of Problems of the Higher School of Kharkiv’s University of Humanities “People’s Ukrainian Academy” with author’s participation. Using the results of a survey, conducted in March 2014 for the public organization “Gromadska varta”, established answer to which indirect question demonstrates the core difference between inhabitants of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and three eastern regions of Ukraine. Confirmed is the operation of classical sociological effects of the “orchestra car” (P. Lazarsfeld) and “spiral of the silence” (E. Noel−Niman) for the inhabitants of Donbas region
