Keywords: | MPLS
Issue Date: | Jun-2020 |
Abstract: | The article deals with characteristics of transport networks and basic requirements for their construction. Multi-protocol commutation technology on labels, its architecture were analyzed; the basic definitions and the terms of this technology were also given. The principal advantages of the multi-protocol commutation on labels, which can be taken as a basis when selecting transport network technology were defined. This will enable the more efficient networks, predictable service quality with more flexibility. All these will adapt to the changing users’ needs and can be useful in the transport network design and operation for specific users. |
