КОМПОНЕНТНИЙ АНАЛІЗ ЛІНГВОКУЛЬТУРНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ МАЙБУТНІХ МЕНЕДЖЕРІВ ЗОВНІШНЬО-ЕКОНОМІЧНОЇ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ

Abstract

Linguocultural training, which contributes to the formation of linguocultural competence of future International Business managers, occupies an important place in the process of professional training of future managers, allows them to understand today's cultural and linguistic space and to function in cultural diversity at the appropriate level. The relevance of the article is grounded by the objective need for optimization of linguocultural competence structure of future International Business managers to change the content of linguocultural training of future managers according to the current demands. Linguocultural competence, as an invariant of a specialist’s communicative competence, is a part of basic competences of the future International Business manager. To define the essence of the competence the analysis of sub-competences, which are included to the notion of linguocultural competence, has been conducted. These sub-competences are communicative, intercultural, foreign language and interculturological ones which are considered in the context of professional training by the scholars. The structure of future International Business managers’ linguocultural competence is determined in the article. It comprises the following components: informative-cognitive (value attitude towards language and culture by using different means of information), value and motivation (desire to master a foreign language and culture; values of learning a foreign language and culture), personality (personal characteristics of the manager as the subject of intercultural communication), perceptive-interactive (ability to build constructive relations with partners in intercultural communication) and communicative-behavioral ones (ability to use verbal and non-verbal means and technologies in terms of value attitude to other cultures). The defined structural components can be used to determine the criteria and corresponding indicators, which characterize the level of linguocultural competence formation of future International Business managers and the scope of competences, which can be developed in the course of mastering the linguocultural competence components.
