Діалектні тексти як джерело дослідження генези та сучасного стану українських говірок Донеччини

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the dialectal texts of the Book of Ukrainian dialects of the Donetsk region as an important source for studying the genesis and the current state of the newly created Eastern steppe sub-dialects. Results: The article emphasizes the importance of recording, systematizing and publishing dialectal texts of the Eastern steppe dialects as an important source for studying the genesis and modern state of Ukrainian dialects in the Donetsk region. Various samples of coherent speech are presented, which give an idea of the most important features of the newly created Donetsk dialects at all structural levels in the form in which they have been preserved in the beginning of the XXI century and which form the basis of the Book of the Ukrainian sub-dialects of the Donetsk region. The peculiarities of the textual base of the Eastern steppe dialects, presented in the textbook, are analyzed. Discussion: Despite activation in recording and publishing the Ukrainian dialectal texts the dialects of Donetsk region are still not manifested enough. Due to the Book of Ukrainian dialects of Donetsk region, another part of the Ukrainian dialect continuum, which is still insufficiently worked out in textual, lexicographical, linguistical aspect, will be presented in the Ukrainian dialectal textual base. The value of the proposed texts is strengthened by the fact that there are the decoded records of almost destroyed or much damaged because of military actions East Ukrainian settlements which are on the line of collision, and also by the records of the dialects which are in the temporary occupied territories of Donetsk region.
