Abstract: В статье разработан алгоритм восстановления спектров пикселей изображения распределения источников γ-излучения, полученных с помощью системы визуализации γ-излучения с кодированной апертурой. Показана возможность разделения спектров индивидуальных источников и идентификации радионуклидов по их спектральным характеристикам, оценки радиометрических характеристик источников. Приведенный алгоритм может быть применен для восстановления спектров как точечных, так и протяженных источников. Проведен анализ статистических характеристик восстановленных спектров, изучены особенности формы аппаратной функции.
Description: The using of gamma-ray imaging systems with coded apertures for spectrometry, identification and radiometry of the gammaray sources which are localized in the system field of view is considered in the paper. Such problems are appeared, for example, at checking of the nuclear engineering objects or active remote search, localization and identification of the radionuclides on the ground. At such measurements proper spectrum of required radionuclide forms no more than several percents from summary spectrum registered by the detector. This situation makes the procedures of the identification and radiometric estimation of spatially localized source more difficult fundamentally. At the same time the unique properties of the coded aperture present the possibility to separate out the proper gammaray spectrum for desired direction from total registered spectrum. The object of work is the development of the gamma-ray sources identification method on their spectral characteristics and analysis of the statistical features of the gamma-ray spectra are reconstructed by gamma-ray imaging system with coded aperture for aim the estimation of source radiometric characteristics. The algorithm of imaging pixel spectra reconstruction is developed in the base of correlation method which is used for reconstruction of sources distribution in the field of view of the imaging system with coded aperture. The possibility of separation of the individual sources spectra and radionuclide identification on their spectral characteristics, estimation of source radiometric characteristics is shown. Mentioned algorithm may be used for the reconstruction of the spectra both point and spread sources. The analysis of the reconstructed spectra statistical characteristics was carried out; the peculiarities of the device function shape were studied. The introduced method of the processing of the data obtained by gamma-ray imaging system with coded aperture at an observation enables to arise an identification confidence and precision of the source radiometric estimation essentially. Using of the method provides a possibility of remote gamma-ray source spectrometry and radiometry in field conditions without sampling and realizes the unique properties of gamma-ray imaging system with coded aperture.
