Abstract: Выполнено обоснование формы импульса, отличной от прямоугольной, при моделировании сигналов в телекоммуникационных системах для учета возникающей погрешности, играющей важную роль в оценке моделей методов высокоточного измерения частоты. Предложено использование такого представления сигнала для моделирования измерителя частоты на основе рациональных приближений. Разработаны модели генератора импульсных последовательностей с учетом выдвинутых требований в таких программных пакетах, как SystemView и MatLab. Проведен сравнительный анализ и выбрана наилучшая реализация.
Description: In telecommunication systems, one of the fundamental problems is to perform accurate frequency measurements for a limited period of time, such as for jitter diagnosis. Increasing the measurement interval results in the smoothing of obtained characteristics and loss of high-frequency jitter components resulting in reduced accuracy. Thus the problem of "error - measurement time" limitation is formed, i.e. obtaining high-frequency values in relatively short time intervals. We justified the use of non-ideal shape of the pulse in signals’ simulation in telecommunication systems to account for the uncertainty arising, which plays an important role in the evaluation of models for high-precision frequency measurement. The use of signal representation for modeling the frequency meter based on rational approximations is proposed. The paper provides the requirements for pulse sequences generator, such as simple setting of generated frequency, the possibility of regulating the accuracy of impulse representation (possibility of changing the number of samples per cycle), the independence of setting the front and rear edges. Taking into account these requirements we developed models of pulse sequences in such software packages as SystemView by ELANIX and MatLab. A comparative analysis of the models was performed; the benefits and drawbacks were considered. Thus, the model in SystemView is simple in frequency regulation of the sequence, has good representation of information and is not very complex for accuracy regulation. But it has a critical drawback - it is difficult to adjust the rate of fronts growth and you can not configure them separately. On the other hand, the model in MatLab has the above-mentioned advantages and eliminates the main disadvantages. The paper provides the elements of the code and the function block diagram of the model generated on their basis. Thus, the model of the generator, implemented in MatLab, was proved to be optimal in terms of stated goals and objectives.
