| Abstract: | Подано аргументи на користь використання у дослідженнях соціально-економічних процесів, явищ і відносин методів як індуктивної, так і дескриптивної статистики. Доведено, що методи дедуктивної статистики найбільш прийнятні для перевірки причинних зв'язків у однорідних об'єктах. Методи дескриптивної статистики прийнятні у випадках, коли не уявляється можливим виразити кількісно якісні характеристики або коли встановлюються зв'язки між різнорідними об'єктами. Спільне використання методів дозволить підвищити надійність встановлення причинно-наслідкових зв'язків. |
| Description: | There are presented the arguments for applying the methods of inductive and descriptive statistics in research of the socio-economic processes and phenomena. It is proved that the deductive statistics methods are the most suitable for testing causal relationships in homogeneous objects. The methods of descriptive statistics are acceptable in cases where it is not possible to quantify qualitative characteristics, or there are not established the connections between disparate objects. Sharing techniques will improve the reliability of identifying cause-effect relationships. |
