Abstract: The economic system is the basis of the functioning and stability of the state‘s development, and the formation of an effective and efficient system capable of sustained confrontation with the destabilizing factors of the external and internal environment in the process of integration into European and world experience is one of the main tasks of national economic policy, strategic national interests in economic sphere. A chain of legislative documents on ensuring economic safety is identified as one of the main areas of state policy. Significant studies in the field of safety science show the need to combine the efforts of all entities ensuring economic safety in the direction of counteracting to organized crime in the economic sphere, the shadowing of the economy, counteraction to the legalization of proceeds from crime. In this direction, the activity of the authorities, in particular, law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor‘s office, becomes of particular significance. The shadow economy, corruption, legalization of illegal proceeds, violation of the law on public procurement, tax evasion are only a small part of economic offenses that pose a real threat to both the national safety of the state and the economic safety of the society.
