Abstract: Предложен новый способ прокатки непрерывнолитых заготовок в прямоугольных калибрах. Способ предназначен для использования в условиях сортовых станов линейного типа, у которых на валках обжимной клети “трио” врезаны сопряженные прямоугольные калибры. Результаты численного исследования новой схемы деформирования металла показали, что новая конструкция калибров в максимальной степени учитывает как геометрию заготовки, так и особенности макроструктуры металла и позволяет изменить характер накопления деформации в слоях металла, контактирующих с дном ручья.
Description: Background. Scheme of deformation in rectangular conjugate grooves has a line of specific features which provide forming of finished rolling product structures of metal which have irregular size of grains. The most clearly this effect appears in case of rolling continuously casting billet where macrostructure initially are characterized by irregular size of grains and presence of internal defects which seems like pores. In this case research directed on improvement of deformation schemes continuously casting billet which has aim to achieve more smooth character of deformation distribution in volume is actual. Materials and/or methods. Grooves construction correcting leads the necessity of studying changing’s not only in metal forming behavior but also in forming of peculiarities of strain stress state in different areas of factual deformation region. Modeling methods are the most full allow solve the assigned task. According to conditions of task in the paper used software package DEFORM-3D. Results. The results of numerical study of the new scheme of metal deformation have showed that newly-designed construction of grooves takes into account geometry and macrostructure of billet on a maximum rate and allows changing behavior of strain accumulation in metal layers which contact with bottom pass. According to deformation conditions in the first region area groove where observes maximum rate Λ approximately in 5th times more than in the case of rolling by the working scheme. Moreover, the width became almost the same on all width of groove. At the same time deformation in the second groove of the couple provides higher (to 23%) rate of strain accumulation Λ.This allows changing behavior of strain rate in metal layers which contact with bottom pass. The study found that in the second groove of the couple which designed by newly-designed scheme allows reducing strain intensity of 2…2,47 times. Conclusion. A new method of rolling continuously casting billets in box grooves is proposed. The method is intended for using in a linear type of shape rolling mill where on rolls of three-high stand are chopped conjugate box grooves. The results of numerical study of the new scheme of metal deformation have showed that the new construction of grooves takes into account geometry and macrostructure of billet on a maximum rate. Also it allows minimizing probability appearance of failure cracking because of unwanted strain stress state.
