dc.description	This article is devoted to the activities of the Bahamian pirates in the waters of the West Indies and North America in the period between conclusion of the Madrid peace (1670) and taking the Bahamas under the control of the British authorities (1718). The author investigates the specifics of sea robbery in the region at the time when the buccaneering turned from legal business into ordinary piracy.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Статья посвящена деятельности пиратов Багамских островов в водах Вест-Индии и Северной Америки в период между заключением Мадридского мира 1670 г. и переходом Багам под жесткий контроль британских властей (1718 г.). Автор исследует специфику морского разбоя в указанном регионе в то время, когда флибустьерский промысел из легального бизнеса превратился в обычное пиратство, объявленное вне закона всеми ведущими морскими державами Европы.	en_US
